I got pregnant at the end of my freshman year (2008)
I have no idea of what was going through my mind
Maybe it was that i had to much freedom and knew
that i could get away with alot
I had my son my sophomore year in March 20,09
I had a natrual birth no medication it wasn't really painfull
Was in home bound after I went back to school
It was hard to stay wake but I still pass all my classes
My parents help me out with the baby while I has in school
I was living up north and was goin to school in the south side
at Farragut Career Academy
Starting my junior year I had an emergence transfer to
Steinmetz Academic Center just because my babydaddy got into it
With the Kings from Little Village

It was weird and i had no clue who was goin to watch my baby
Thankfully my son's grandfather stepped up and took care of him every single day
that school year
I had to travel to humbold park everyday to pick up the bby and back to the
house got out of school at 2 30 and picked him up around 3 40 got home around 5pm
When the winter came home I had to stay at the restauran,witch the grandparents are owners of, intill they close and that used to be at 10 pm
I had to wake up at 5 just to ge school on time

Schedule

A normal day for me is pretty busy
wake up at 5 30
get myself ready then the baby
be out the house by 7am
drop him off in daycare before going to school
pick him up at 3
Go back home on the bus get there at 4 10
feed the baby, play with him for about 2hrs
at 8 bath him put a movie on
at 830 - 9 but him to bed
sneak out the room when he falls asleep to do any hw if I have any
And it repeats everyday
Unless I have to take him to the doctors or something

Who said being a teen mom was easy
Who ever wants to get pregnant at a young age
Its crazy a kid raising a kid
But it happens
Its how you deal with it that make you amazing

Who would of thought that I was goin to get
Pregnant not really knowing what I got myself into
You really don't know how hard it is intill they are here
But I never let that hold me back and will not let it be an
EXCUSE why I don't keep up with everything

Look at where I stand Now
Have never fell behind even with does sleepless night
Going to graduate on time with my original class 2011
Hardly every miss school unless I really have too

I'm not saying that I have it easy
Just saying its possible to do it all
You just really have to want it and not let anything stand in your way
